My Uncle Colin has cerebral palsy but is my Nana's prime career. He cannot walk without his walking sticks but he lives and cares for my Nana 24/7. He always has eyes on her when she tries to get up. Always there to calm her and call someone when she falls, always there and endures a million of the same questions, having to explain to her that she is home.
He feeds her, nurtures, cleans her, relaxes her, keeps her healthy, gives her medication, watches her deteriorate. Not once in these past four years has he left her side.
